Rhinoplasty or nose reshaping can reduce or increase the size of your nose, change the shape of the tip or the bridge, or change the angle between your nose and upper lip. Many patients see Dr. Smotrich for what they feel is a nasal tip that is too full or round. Other patients have issues with the bony structure of the upper nose, which may involve a hump or too broad a nose. A technically challenging procedure, a rhinoplasty can be performed from entirely within the nose without any visible scars. This may be an option when a small hump needs correction. For work on a misshapen nasal tip, Dr. Smotrich may use an open rhinoplasty technique, which gives superior exposure of the nasal cartilages. All of the available options will be discussed in your consultation with Dr. Smotrich.
